Beautiful kai, great hosts and wonderful setting. Portion sizes are a little small for the prices but make up for the flavors. Will definitely be back at some point to try something new.
There are many dishes that feature spice, for example there's Wonton with spicy sauce, and Sichuan style dumplings. My favourite on this visit though was the Chongqing dan dan noodles. The star in this dish is Sichuan pepper, which imparts a unique tingling sensation on the taste buds. Highly recommend
Takeaway or dine-in, we both had good experiences, English fluently speaking waitress very accommodating. Food is great. 😊
In New Zealand standard, this could be rated 4 star. But compared with the Hamilton shop, this one is far below standard, much less tasty. You need a genuine Sichuan cuisine chef here. I’m quite disappointed and will not come again unless they can improve.
